The WM 40 card is still unfolding as we get closer to “The Showcase of the Immortals.” However, several of the high-profile matches have already been confirmed. Additionally, the rumors are swirling over who might show up at this year’s “Super Bowl of Pro Wrestling.”

Where to Bet on WrestleMania 40

How To Bet On WrestleMania

Betting on WWE events, especially WrestleMania, requires that you follow the on-air storylines to gauge where the direction of a feud is heading. Additionally, you can check out the online pro wrestling “dirt sheets” for the latest backstage news and rumors.

When it comes to actually placing WWE wagers, most online betting sites provide standard moneyline bets to choose which wrestler will win. However, there are occasions where these same online sportsbooks have prop bets for various outcomes in a match like how the match will end.

WrestleMania 40 Predictions

Let’s take a look at the announced matches and latest WrestleMania 40 betting odds:

Tag Team Match

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins (+350)

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Roman Reigns (-600)

This highly anticipated tag-team match features the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as he teams up with his cousin Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

The stipulation for this match dictates what will happen for the main event bout on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40, when Roman Reigns defends the WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes.

If Rhodes and Rollins win, then The Bloodline will be barred from ringside during the championship main event match. However, if The Rock and Reigns win, then the main event title match will be held under Bloodline Rules.

Let’s make no mistake about this, there’s a reason why Rock and Roman’s WrestleMania betting lines are so high. That’s because they will win this match and set up Cody Rhodes to face the insurmountable scenario where Reigns and his Bloodline family members do everything possible to pick up the victory.

This tag-team match is one of the easiest WrestleMania 40 bets to make. Take The Rock and Roman Reigns to win this match.

The Bet: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Roman Reigns (-600)

Singles Match

LA Knight (-1000)

AJ Styles (+500)

As of this writing, LA Knight is the largest betting favorite for WrestleMania 2024. These two superstars have been warring against each other to determine who’s the best wrestler on the show. This rivalry has captivated WWE fans since late last year and it will certainly deliver a fantastic in-ring product at WM 40.

With that said, Styles has already had a few WrestleMania moments in his career. For Knight, this will be his time to finally shine on “The Grandest Stage” of them all. Although there’s no value with Knight, he’s the clear choice here.

The Bet: LA Knight (-1000)

Brother vs. Brother Match

Jey Uso (-300)

Jimmy Uso (+200)

The battle of brothers reminds us of the feud between Bret Hart and Owen Hart that was punctuated by their grudge match at WrestleMania 10. Owen Hart was the underdog in that matchup, but picked up a huge victory.

Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening for Jimmy Uso who’s become the forgotten Uso twin. Main Event Jey Uso has received the bigger push between the two brothers and I expect that to continue with a strong victory at WM 40.

The Bet: Jey Uso (-300)

WWE Women's Championship Match

Bayley (-900)

(c)Iyo Sky (+500)

You have to give credit to the WWE creative team and Bayley for the excellent character work done with this storyline. This story was a slow burn since last summer and it’s been well executed.

The former teammates built to a feud after Iyo Sky undermined Bayley’s leadership in Damage CTRL. The dissention eventually led to Bayley turning on her former teammates and picking up a win in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match.

With that victory, Bayley received a title shot and declared that she wanted to face Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship. With how silly Sky and others made Bayley look for several months, it’s time for Bayley to get her revenge and score one of the biggest victories of her career.

The Bet: Bayley (-900)

Women's World Championship Match

Becky Lynch (+300)

(c)Rhea Ripley (-500)

This feud has heated up over the last month as the intensity between the two superstars is at an all-time high. With that in mind, Rhea Ripley is quite possibly the best female wrestler in the WWE right now and I don’t see her losing this match.

Online sportsbooks agree as she’s a healthy favorite in this title bout. On a card that’s stacked with so much talent, this title bout could end up stealing the show.

The Bet: Rhea Riplye (-500)

Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship

Randy Orton (+350)

Kevin Owens (+900)

(c)Logan Paul (-500)

Logan Paul has exceeded all expectations inside the ring. In fact, he’s become one of the brightest stars on the entire roster. Typically, three-way matches lead to the champion losing the title without getting pinned. It’s the cheap way to remove a belt off a wrestler without having that wrestler lose momentum or credibility with the fans or storyline.

However, for this match, I don’t see that happening. In fact, I think Paul is going to win this match by outsmarting both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Look for Orton to hit an RKO on Owens, but Paul sneaking in to get the pinfall and the victory.

The Bet: Logan Paul (-500)

Intercontinental Championship Match

I am surprised by the WrestleMania betting lines for this match. I would’ve expected Gunther to be one of the biggest betting favorites for the entire show. He’s the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion (IC) of all-time, and poised to become a world champion by next year.

Sami Zayn is an incredibly talented and entertaining wrestler, but having him end Gunther’s reign makes no sense. Zayn doesn’t need the rub that a victory like this is meant to give. There’s no need to take the IC belt off of Gunther. Instead, look for Gunther to continue his IC reign and set his sights on one of the WWE world titles.

    The Bet: Gunther (-400)

    World Heavyweight Championship Match

    (c)Seth "Freakin" Rollins (+375)

    Drew McIntyre (-650)

Heading into WrestleMania 2024, the latest rumors suggest that Drew McIntyre has not signed a new contract with the WWE. That’s a dangerous position for the company to be in because McIntyre has been one of the hottest stars over the last few months.

Not only does The Scottish Warrior have a feud going with Seth Rollins, but he also has a heated storyline with the injured CM Punk. It’s hard to imagine that the WWE has pushed McIntyre this hard without thinking they will re-sign him. It would be extremely foolish to do so.

With that in mind, I believe the WWE has already signed McIntyre to a contract extension or will have done so before WM 40. Take McIntyre to win this bout and keep the title until he faces CM Punk when the latter returns from injury in the fall.

    The Bet: Drew McIntyre (-650)

    Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match

    Cody Rhodes (-400)

    (c)Roman Reigns (+250)

Here it is! The match and feud that has been at the forefront of the WWE for nearly two years. Cody Rhodes is the prodigal son that returned to the WWE in 2022. In fact, he beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38 that year. Unfortunately, he would go on to lose to Roman Reigns last year at WM 39 despite everyone thinking Rhodes would win.

Then in early 2024, the WWE teased that this match might not happen as The Rock returned to wrestling and stole the spotlight. He almost stole the main event spot at WrestleMania as well. But the WWE came to their senses and realized that Rhodes is the only choice to face Reigns.

In fact, Rhodes is the only choice to end the dictatorship of The Tribal Chief. The Bloodline members will be ringside, but I expect Rhodes to overcome all of the obstacles in his way, and finally dethrone Reigns to become the Universal Champion.

This storyline is two years in the making and it will payoff with Rhodes closing the show as the conquering hero of the WWE Universe. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rhodes receives some help from a few of the rumored appearances mentioned below.

    The Bet: Cody Rhodes (-400)

    WrestleMania 40 Rumors

In addition to the Drew McIntyre contract above, there are several rumors creating a healthy buzz for WrestleMania 40.

If you saw on the March 25 episode of RAW, when The Rock was destroying Cody Rhodes, in the background was a WWE truck with the faces of John Cena and Steve Austin on it.

Cena and Austin are considered The Rock’s two greatest rivals. Rumor has it that both men will make appearances at WM 40 in Philadelphia. I can see both men showing up to help Rhodes defeat Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline.

Another rumor, is Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE to celebrate this anniversary. Hogan’s popularity helped usher in a new era in pro wrestling in the 1980s, including making WrestleMania 1 a huge success in 1985.

Other rumored WWE legends that could appear are The Undertaker, Jerry Lawler, and Kurt Angle. However, one rumored name that makes a lot of sense is Rikishi.

This WWE legend is the father of The Usos and it makes perfect sense to see him get involved in the Uso brother vs. brother match. In fact, a Rikish heel turn to help Jimmy win could be a nice twist to this storyline.
